Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one to three years related supervisory experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • appropriate licenses as required
  • servsafe certification or ability to become certified required
  • knowledge of HACCP standards required
  • active employee permit issued by the State of Indiana’s Alcohol and Tobacco Commission and completed server training program
  • Level 4 Gaming License
  • ability to read, analyze and interpret documents
  • ability to write effective reports and memos
  • ability to communicate effectively in various settings
  • ability to perform basic math calculations
  • ability to apply common sense reasoning
  • ability to lift up to 25 lb

Job Duties

  • understands and assists with sequence of service in all food and beverage outlets
  • enforces performance standards, policies and procedures as they relate to venue operations
  • monitors service in all venues as assigned
  • ensures smooth and efficient operations on a continual basis by being visible and active in the venue
  • communicates with venue and operations management on challenges or assistance required
  • ensures the highest standards of guest service and employee relations
  • ensures compliance with health and safety standards and applicable laws
  • assists with scheduling employees and staffing adjustments
  • monitors job performance of venue employees and provides feedback
  • provides input concerning operational deficiencies and improvements
  • works with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure food quality and sanitation
  • promotes positive guest relations and handles guest issues
  • reviews and coaches employees and provides recommendations for personnel actions
  • maintains professional grooming and appearance
  • listens to and handles guest comments for satisfaction
  • maintains knowledge of gaming laws and internal controls
  • completes shift administrative tasks such as reports and ordering of products
