Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to three years related supervisory experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Appropriate licenses as required
- ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
- Knowledge of HACCP standards required
- Active employee permit issued by the State of Indiana’s Alcohol and Tobacco Commission and completion of Indiana ATC approved server training program
- Position requires a Level 4 Gaming License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to write effective reports and memos
- Ability to communicate effectively in various settings
- Ability to perform mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to various situations
- Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lb
- Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes smoky casino environment

Job Duties
- Understands and assists with sequence of service in all food and beverage outlets
- Enforces performance standards, policies and procedures as they relate to venue operations
- Ensures smooth and efficient operations on a continual basis by being visible and active in the venue
- Communicates with venue and operations management on challenges, guest concerns, staffing, or supply needs
- Ensures highest possible standards of guest service and employee relations are maintained
- Ensures compliance with all health and safety standards, beverage, federal, state and local laws
- Assists venue managers with employee scheduling and staffing adjustments
- Monitors job performance of venue employees and provides feedback
- Provides input on operational deficiencies and areas needing improvement
- Works closely with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure food quality and sanitation
- Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service
- Handles guest issues and communicates through reports and emails
- Reviews, coaches, and provides recommendations for employee hiring, training, promotion, evaluation, discipline, and termination
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance
- Listens to and resolves guest comments satisfactorily
- Maintains knowledge of gaming laws and internal controls
- Completes shift administrative tasks including opening and closing checklists, daily reports, product ordering, labor reports, scheduling, service recovery, and incident reporting
