Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • High school diploma or GED required with relevant experience
  • Maintain TIPS and ServeSafe certifications
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Availability to work various hours including weekends, holidays, and long shifts
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS software
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in hospitality preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum four years experience and/or training in restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club environments
  • Prior management experience in fine dining outlets
  • Knowledge of modern Japanese cuisine preferred
  • Strong background in wine and beverage management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS software
  • Must maintain TIPS and ServeSafe certifications
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to inspect facility conditions and report necessary repairs
  • Train service staff to maintain a professional and polished image
  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet service and financial goals
  • Work active shifts daily to support and lead the team
  • Maintain oversight of food and beverage purchasing, usage, and profitability margins
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage on budgets, projects, and outlet designs
  • Manage inventory security and balance budget requirements with quality and service
  • Plan events and communicate with members regarding upcoming functions
  • Produce cost analyses for events and assist with billing and budgeting procedures
  • Attend weekly Food and Beverage and Operations meetings
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report incidents
  • Other duties as assigned
