Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • minimum 4 years food and beverage management experience
  • knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • excellent communication skills

  • compliance with federal, state, and local standards

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 4 years food and beverage management experience in high-end customer environments
  • knowledge of P&L and forecasting
  • event management and corporate catering experience preferred
  • bar and concessions sales experience preferred
  • experience working cross-departmentally
  • ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Direct oversight of the food and beverage staff during events
  • direct oversight of all concessions bars and service locations during performances, client events, and internal events
  • oversee point-of-sale operations including menu and product category creation, vending location setup, software/hardware updates, and POS equipment distribution
  • ensure uncompromising sanitation and cleanliness standards before, during, and after events
  • coordinate with the Marketing Department for signage and advertising initiatives
  • collaborate with Senior Director of Event Operations, Events, Development, and Communications teams on F&B needs
  • oversee food and beverage payroll with administrative assistant
  • assist in budget creation and management including operational and event budgets
  • train and coach staff on best practices, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service
  • determine staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
  • delegate and oversee setup and close-down tasks
  • communicate company policies and ensure compliance
  • monitor best practices for pours, recipes, and beverage standards
  • promptly resolve customer complaints
  • assist Purchasing Manager with inventory, ordering, and delivery check-in
  • cultivate relationships with suppliers and sales representatives
  • oversee bar layouts for functionality and visual appeal
  • generate and present financial reports for events
  • maintain ongoing communication with staff and management
  • perform related duties assigned by director or senior manager
  • ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures
