Job Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in Food and Beverage Director position
- Ability to commute up to 60 miles from the initial unit location
- Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently bend and stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Pass legal background check
- Basic computer literacy including Internet and specialized software
- Preferred four year college degree
Job Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in a Food and Beverage Director role
- Experience in a university setting preferred
- Four year college degree preferred
- Proven successful leadership and people skills including valuing diversity
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills including Internet, Google Workspace, Slack, CBORD, Simphony/Point of Sale systems
- Demonstrated responsibility managing personal and financial matters
Job Duties
- Ensure proper hiring, orientation, training, evaluating, mentoring, and disciplining leading to employee and store success
- Consistently supervise, manage, and inspect all hourly employees to ensure readiness and ability to perform to company standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction through proper internal controls including employee engagement, quality controls, and product delivery checks
- Prioritize employee, customer, and operational needs to handle issues quickly, effectively, and efficiently
- Promote positive open communication in a team environment
- Adhere to and display company standards by personal example
- Oversee personnel scheduling, shift cutbacks, and holiday planning to facilitate standard coverage and efficiency
- Build strong community relations through personal character in and outside of work
- Oversee reconciliation of daily cash receipts and equivalents according to policy standards
- Complete necessary administrative office work and record keeping and forward all documents to corporate timely
- Abide by all federal and state governmental regulations and labor standards
- Supervise all store-level management and maintain management interaction with all department levels
- Establish intra-store policy aligned with Provider Contract Food Service
- Set priorities for assistant managers and supervisors
- Manage security of master key list, alarm pass codes, computer system pass codes, and discount coupons
- Conduct employee and manager reviews
- Prepare and review annual budget, monitor financial analysis and take actions to achieve the budget
- Attend all Food and Beverage Director meetings and hold regular management meetings with assistant management team
- Complete weekly Food and Beverage Director review
- Document operational concerns in daily log
- Manage maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of furnishings, equipment, building, and landscaping
- Oversee ordering of products, menu planning, and daily specials
- Hold quarterly round table and safety meetings
