Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management
  • Ability to complete accurate inventory counts
  • Understanding of cost of goods sold
  • Knowledge of food and beverage safety standards
  • Proficiency with relevant software applications
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to work in a loud and warm indoor environment
  • Compliance with all company and legal human resources policies

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems
  • Knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations
  • Significant experience in the food and beverage industry

Job Duties

  • Complete accurate inventory counts each month and understand cost of goods sold
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate the food and beverage department within budgeted payroll and adjust as sales fluctuate
  • Plan the weekly schedule for all food and beverage department employees
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation
  • Plan, promote, and direct all restaurant activities
  • Manage the sale, operation, billing, and collection of all banquet functions
  • Ensure accurate ordering of food and beverage items in coordination with the Executive Chef
  • Develop food and beverage sales and promotions as needed
  • Incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards
  • Hire and train all restaurant personnel
  • Ensure timely completion of all I-9 paperwork, e-verify, and onboarding within three days of hire
  • Adhere to all State, Federal, and Bobby Jones Links human resources policies including hiring and firing, discrimination, and harassment
