Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • ability to complete accurate inventory counts each month
  • strong understanding of cost of goods sold
  • experience developing and implementing safety and sanitation policies
  • ability to manage department budgets and adjust payroll
  • experience planning employee schedules
  • skills in coordinating with kitchen staff
  • experience managing banquet operations
  • ability to hire and train restaurant personnel
  • knowledge of human resource laws and regulations
  • ability to complete hiring paperwork including I-9 and e-verify within three days

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • strong knowledge of inventory management and cost control
  • excellent leadership and team management skills
  • solid understanding of safety and sanitation standards
  • experience with scheduling and payroll management
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Complete accurate monthly inventory counts with understanding of cost of goods sold
  • develop and implement safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • operate food and beverage department within budgeted payroll and adjust as sales change
  • plan weekly schedules for food and beverage department employees
  • collaborate with kitchen to ensure fast ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation
  • plan, promote, and direct all restaurant activities
  • manage sale, operation, billing, and collection of all banquet functions
