Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years experience in front-of-house operations leadership and/or management positions
  • Five years experience banquet operations
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • U.S. work authorization

  • Five years experience banquet operations
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or equivalent of education and work experience preferred
  • Experience in coffee house, room service and beverage operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Leads a team accountable for the performance and results of a function or a business
  • Executes assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals
  • Promotes a culture of open communication
  • Drives organizational excellence in operations and customer service in all revenue centers
  • Oversees performance measurements to ensure the property operates within approved budgets and is competitive in its respective competitive set
  • Participates in and integrates Living as a Leader concepts into all levels of management
  • Produces monthly financial reports to be presented to Geronimo Hospitality COO/VP of Restaurants/Area Director of Restaurants
  • Adheres to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
  • Approaches all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Ensures all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Maintains professional food and beverage image, including venue cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Works closely with other departments including Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, Accounting and Lodging to ensure quality guest and employee experience
  • Works with Human Resources as needed to ensure all entity employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensures positive guest service in all areas or operations
  • responds to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • Ensures a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • completes accident reports promptly if a guest or employee is injured
  • Hires, develops and trains associates to ensure guest satisfaction and company culture
  • Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the food and beverage department and its assets through the enforcing and maintaining of preventative maintenance programs
  • All other duties as assigned
