Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in food service
  • 1-3 years of experience in a management role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client and customer rapport
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain systems and procedures for food ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving
  • Develop operational forecasts and manage components accounting functions
  • Ensure sanitation and safety compliance
  • Coordinate and supervise personnel in production, quality, cost control, labor management and training
  • Recruit, hire, develop and retain front line team
  • Conduct period inventory
  • Maintain compliance records with Aramark and government standards
  • Manage client and customer relations
  • Participate in sales and contract negotiations
  • Implement new products and services to support sales growth
  • Manage front of house dining operations
  • Develop and implement food service plans aligned with client mission and vision with sustainable practices
  • Lead and develop teams through recruiting, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure connection to Executional Framework
  • Reward and recognize employees
  • Build revenue and manage budget including food, beverage and labor cost controls
  • Maintain P and L statements
  • Achieve food and labor targets
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines
  • Implement Aramark labor and food initiatives
  • Ensure operational compliance with food and labor fundamentals
  • Oversee food production, distribution and service operations
  • Maintain safe and healthy environment
  • Comply with policies and regulations including safety, health, and labor laws
