Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Progressive food and beverage management experience in similar size hotel or venue required
- Ability to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Commitment to safety practices including MSDS and OSHA standards adherence
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Progressive food and beverage management experience in similarly sized hotel or venue
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Financial acumen in budget development and cost control
- Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with sustainability practices
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring adherence to brand and hotel standards
- Monitor performance to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and compliance with service, sanitation, and productivity standards
- Control food and beverage inventories and related equipment
- Manage labor costs effectively
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation meet Health Department ratings
- Oversee food preparation ensuring quality and safety
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Monitor and forecast food and beverage revenues and expenses to achieve financial goals
- Implement new menu items and policies to boost customer satisfaction and value
- Develop and manage the annual food and beverage budget
- Implement and monitor purchasing programs ensuring correct quantity and pricing
- Follow sustainability guidelines under HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits following MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as requested by management
