Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive food and beverage management experience in similar size hotel or venue
  • Ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Familiarity with MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive food and beverage management experience in similar size hotel or venue
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with budget development and financial management
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Commitment to sustainability practices
  • Proficiency in scheduling and staff training

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they perform according to established hotel standards
  • Monitor performance to ensure adherence to service, sanitation and productivity standards
  • Monitor and control food and beverage inventories
  • Maintain inventories of related food and beverage equipment
  • Monitor and control labor costs
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation levels to health department required ratings
  • Manage food preparation
  • Organize multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Monitor and forecast food and beverage revenues and expenses
  • Implement new menu items and policies to increase customer satisfaction
  • Develop and manage the annual food and beverage budget
  • Implement and monitor ordering and receiving program
  • Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
