Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four to ten years' experience in hospitality
- Three to five years' experience supervising managers
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Familiarity with restaurant database software
- Knowledge of county health regulations
- Ability to uphold Bluestar Resort & Golf dining standards
- Understanding of financial forecasting and budget responsibilities
- Ability to interpret food service periodicals
- Ability to understand standardized recipe formats
- Strong problem-solving and reporting skills
- Strategic planning and employee development capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and minimal travel
- Valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Four to ten years' experience in hospitality
- Three to five years' supervisory experience managing a team of managers or in another supervisory role
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software is a plus
- Knowledge of county regulations
- Ability to understand and implement Bluestar Resort & Golf dining standards
- Financial forecasting and budget management skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret food service industry periodicals
- Understanding of standardized recipe formats
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Strategic planning, change management, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve high work standards
- Initiative and independent decision-making
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license required
Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of Bluestar Resort & Golf to support company goals
- Be involved in key development initiatives related to clubhouse and restaurant plans
- Establish goals and processes for measuring sales, revenue, new projects, and business development
- Provide strategic intelligence to partners and clients on F&B initiatives including vision, business planning, capital expansion, branding, menu and clubhouse design, and creative development
- Ensure superior standards of food service and quality meet or exceed employee and guest expectations
- Maintain effective communication on F&B operations, safety, and employee concerns while modeling motivation for the team
- Coordinate with F&B Manager and Club Manager on budget creation and goal-setting
- Monitor F&B operations to adjust strategies for improved revenues and cost control
- Oversee costs of goods, labor, and general expenses
- Create operational reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
