Job Requirements

  • education or experience in hospitality management or related field
  • minimum of four years progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • food handler certificate required
  • responsible beverage service certification required
  • valid California driver license
  • strong leadership and management skills
  • proficient with POS systems such as Micros or Simphony
  • effective communication skills written verbal and presentation
  • strong analytical financial and problem solving skills
  • knowledge of local and federal health food and liquor regulations
  • ability to manage large teams and multiple priorities
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of four years progressive food and beverage leadership experience resort or upscale dining preferred
  • proven ability to manage large diverse teams in fast paced hospitality environment
  • strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills
  • demonstrated proficiency in budgeting cost control and financial reporting
  • excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in POS systems micros simphony and Microsoft Office
  • sound judgment professionalism and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • food handler certificate responsible beverage service certification and valid California driver license required
  • bilingual skills preferred knowledge of Sonoma County restaurant industry
  • excellent beverage knowledge
  • knowledge of federal state and local food and liquor laws regulations

Job Duties

  • direct all food and beverage operations ensuring consistency quality and profitability
  • refine update and create training and development tools to elevate operating standards practices and guest experience
  • collaborate with sales and culinary management to support banquet and catering growth
  • develop implement and monitor budgets forecasts and financial objectives
  • partner with executive chef on menu development pricing strategy and special event planning
  • recruit train and supervise all food and beverage staff fostering teamwork and professional development
  • ensure compliance with health safety and alcohol regulations and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory purchasing and vendor relations to optimize cost control and product quality
  • lead revenue management initiatives analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement
  • control labor and expenses through effective planning and strategic purchasing
  • maintain accurate payroll and participate in monthly financial reviews with management
