Job Requirements
- Minimum of four years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
- resort or upscale dining experience strongly preferred
- ability to manage large, diverse teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
- excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- proficient in POS systems (Micros/Simphony preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- sound judgment and professionalism
- food handler certificate
- responsible beverage service certification
- valid California driver license
- knowledge of Sonoma County restaurant industry and laws regarding food and liquor service
- strong leadership and management reporting skills
- bilingual skills preferred
- effective decision-making and conflict management skills
- ability to influence and organize

Job Duties
- Direct all food and beverage operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and profitability
- work with sales and culinary management to elevate banquet and catering events and drive business growth
- develop, implement, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives for all F&B outlets
- establish and enforce service standards, policies, and operational procedures
- recruit, train, and supervise all F&B management and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development
- maintain a work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, problem solving, growth, recognition, and respect
- develop and implement standard operating procedures and training tools for all F&B departments
- lead revenue management initiatives and analyze financial statements to identify improvement areas
- control labor through planning, budgeting, and staffing guidelines
- control expenses through strategic purchasing and inventory control
- ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- oversee inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relations
- support company standards for operational ethics, safety, and performance
- prepare reports and participate in management meetings
- represent the resort in community partnerships and professional networks
- oversee a creative beverage program focused on local wines and craft cocktails
- delegate administrative duties related to staffing, payroll, reporting, and budgeting
- attend staff meetings and coordinate with other department heads
- stay current on local restaurant trends and promote sustainability initiatives
- perform all other duties within executive leadership scope
