Job Requirements

  • Minimum four years progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • Resort or upscale dining experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage large diverse teams
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting
  • Food handler certificate required
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification required
  • Valid California driver license required
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to enforce operational policies and standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent beverage knowledge
  • Ability to train and develop staff

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • Resort or upscale dining experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage large diverse teams in fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting cost control and financial reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in POS systems Micros Simphony preferred and Microsoft Office
  • Food Handler Certificate Responsible Beverage Service certification and valid California driver license required
  • Knowledge of Sonoma County restaurant industry and food and beverage service operations
  • Must possess excellent beverage knowledge
  • Strong leadership and management reporting skills
  • Effective decision-making and conflict management skills
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Direct all food and beverage operations ensuring consistency quality and profitability
  • Work in tandem with sales and culinary management to elevate banquet and catering events
  • Develop implement and monitor budgets forecasts and financial objectives for all F&B outlets
  • Establish and enforce service standards policies and operational procedures
  • Recruit train and supervise all F&B management and staff fostering a culture of teamwork and development
  • Control labor through effective planning budgeting and scheduling
  • Control expenses through strategic purchasing decisions and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local health safety and alcohol regulations
  • Oversee inventory management purchasing and vendor relations
  • Maintain visibility across outlets to ensure service excellence and timely response to guest feedback
  • Lead revenue management initiatives and analyze financial statements
  • Prepare accurate timely reports and participate in management meetings
  • Promote the culinary garden program and sustainability initiatives of the resort
  • Represent the resort in community partnerships and professional networks
