Job Requirements

  • College degree
  • Five years of related hotel operations experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of profitability and budget goals
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of local health and liquor laws
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience with hotel information systems preferred

  • Complete understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of LA health department rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of LA liquor laws and regulations
  • Experience with hotel information systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items as necessary
  • Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance
  • Work with the General Manager and keep informed of food and beverage issues
  • Coordinate and monitor all phases of loss prevention in the food and beverage department
  • Prepare and submit required reports timely
  • Organize and conduct regular department meetings
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations
