Job Requirements
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including events
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance
- Ability to train and mentor staff
- Ability to enforce company policies
- Ability to maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests clearly and respectfully
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
- Experience with Toast POS and extraChef software highly preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to gates open
- Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise resulting in the smooth, efficient and profitable execution of events
- Train new and current employees with regard to property procedure and best practices
- Cover or back-up any open position to assure location is fully operational and company standards pertaining to speed of service and guest satisfaction are met
- Ensure work environment is safe and free from harassment or discrimination
- Provide on-going assistance, training and mentoring to event staff and volunteers
- Supervise the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages and enforce age verification procedures
- Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues
- Recommend products and assist in menu creation within Toast
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
- Recognize and manage visibly intoxicated guests
- Enforce all company policies and procedures
- Practice excellent human resources skills including employee relations, corrective action and coaching
- Assist management team with projects including training, inventory and special events
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
