Job Requirements

  • Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including events
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
  • Ability to enforce company policies
  • Ability to maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to supervise the work of others
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests clearly and respectfully
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
  • Experience with Toast POS and extraChef software highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to gates open
  • Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise resulting in the smooth, efficient and profitable execution of events
  • Train new and current employees with regard to property procedure and best practices
  • Cover or back-up any open position to assure location is fully operational and company standards pertaining to speed of service and guest satisfaction are met
  • Ensure work environment is safe and free from harassment or discrimination
  • Provide on-going assistance, training and mentoring to event staff and volunteers
  • Supervise the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages and enforce age verification procedures
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues
  • Recommend products and assist in menu creation within Toast
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
  • Recognize and manage visibly intoxicated guests
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Practice excellent human resources skills including employee relations, corrective action and coaching
  • Assist management team with projects including training, inventory and special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
