Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- Must pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain gaming license
- High energy and motivated personality
- Ability to work in a stressful and busy environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Recent experience in food service point of sale cash handling preferred
- Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations
- Knowledge of Title 4 Arizona liquor law
- Knowledge of cash handling
- Knowledge of restaurant menu items, bar items, liquors and pricing
- Knowledge of POS system
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card and TIPS certification
- Ability to pass cash handling training and departmental testing
- Ability to communicate, read and write Basic English
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
Job Duties
- Applies knowledge of the laws and regulations governing food and beverage
- Ensures that all tribal, city, state and federal health/food safety codes are upheld
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and sanitized work area
- Operates the cash register, daily records and proper tendering of transactions
- Balances cash register receipts, guest checks and gratuity sheets
- Trains new team members
- Maintains communication with team members and a positive work environment
