Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No felony, theft or stealing convictions
  • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
  • Must pass background investigation
  • Must obtain and maintain gaming license
  • High energy and motivated personality
  • Ability to work in a stressful and busy environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Recent experience in food service point of sale cash handling preferred
  • Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of Title 4 Arizona liquor law
  • Knowledge of cash handling
  • Knowledge of restaurant menu items, bar items, liquors and pricing
  • Knowledge of POS system
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card and TIPS certification
  • Ability to pass cash handling training and departmental testing
  • Ability to communicate, read and write Basic English
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service

Job Duties

  • Applies knowledge of the laws and regulations governing food and beverage
  • Ensures that all tribal, city, state and federal health/food safety codes are upheld
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and sanitized work area
  • Operates the cash register, daily records and proper tendering of transactions
  • Balances cash register receipts, guest checks and gratuity sheets
  • Trains new team members
  • Maintains communication with team members and a positive work environment
