Job Duties

process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and policies
comply with hotel cash control audit standards and cash handling procedures
obtain assigned cash float and ensure accuracy of money
complete cash register at end of shift and deliver receipts
transport cash float to and from assigned workstation
set up and organize cashier workstation with supplies and maintain cleanliness
perform opening duties including organizing supplies and ensuring operational readiness
adhere to company security and safety policies
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
anticipate guest service needs and deliver appreciation
communicate clearly and professionally with others
answer phones using proper protocol
foster positive working relationships and support team goals
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems
stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
move objects weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted
perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
