Job Duties
- process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and policies
- comply with hotel audit standards for cash control and cash handling procedures
- obtain assigned cash register and ensure money accuracy
- reconcile cash register at the end of the shift and complete cashier reports
- transport cash register to assigned workstation
- set up and organize cashier workstation with supplies and materials
- maintain cleanliness of workstation
- complete opening tasks such as organizing supplies and ensuring operational equipment
- adhere to all company security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
- anticipate and attend to guest service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones using appropriate protocol
- foster positive working relationships
- support team efforts to meet common goals
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- enter and locate work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
