Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card required
- Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements
- May require one-year probationary period
- Must satisfactorily complete employment verification (E-Verify)
- May require Tier 1 background investigation for federal facility access
- Completion of initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days and annual refresher training
- Must meet age (21) requirements for serving alcohol
- Certificate of Medical Examination required
- Subject to pre-employment checks as per AR 215-3
- Ability to perform light to heavy physical work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in various physical positions including standing for long periods
- May work on ladders and use power cleaning equipment
- May be exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, and temperature extremes
- May work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Experience or training indicating sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform duties
- Must meet state or local age requirements (21) if serving alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work without more than normal supervision
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order
- Basic food preparation and handling skills
- Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic sanitation principles
- Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
- Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities like walking, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and reaching
Job Duties
- Prepare short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries
- Remove perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities
- Clear and clean tables and work surfaces promptly
- Clean walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas
- Accept food orders from patrons and serve alcoholic beverages
- Serve as cashier in the snack bar, receive payment by cash or charge
- Complete cash reports at the end of shifts
- Order fast food items, condiments, and supplies
- Take delivery and ensure proper storage of supplies
