Job Requirements

  • Direct deposit and social security card required
  • Meet qualification eligibility and background requirements
  • One-year probationary period may be required

  • Completion of Tier 1 background investigation for facility access
  • Meet state and local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages if applicable
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Light to heavy physical effort required
  • Completion of minimum 4 hours food sanitation and safety training within 30 days and refresher annually
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending
  • May work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment
  • Work indoors with occasional outdoor tasks on beverage cart
  • Exposure to hot liquids, sharp blades, hot surfaces, and temperature extremes

Job Qualifications

  • Math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory
  • Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to follow oral instructions and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to concentrate on assignments despite interruptions
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for using knives and equipment
  • Working knowledge of sanitation standards and contamination prevention
  • Knowledge of basic food handling techniques and personal hygiene standards
  • Ability to read and understand written material
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals

Job Duties

  • Performs a variety of kitchen and dining area tasks following established procedures
  • Operates a cash register
  • Prepares and combines fruits and vegetables for salads according to current menu
  • Makes simple sandwiches and performs other simple food preparations
  • Operates beverage cart on the golf course when assigned
  • Slices deli meats and cheeses properly and cuts fruits and vegetables for garnish
  • Cleans dining areas including wiping tables, chairs, emptying trash, and vacuuming
  • Processes and organizes food according to customer orders, checks appearance, quality, quantity and ensures proper presentation
  • Cleans kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and storage containers
  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • Restocks storerooms, refrigerators, freezers, coolers, and dry goods
  • Performs other duties as assigned
