Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Reach overhead and below knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 pounds without assistance
- May require background and drug screening
- Adhere to company safety and security policies
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Follow food safety and handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
Job Duties
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods to manager on duty
- Notify manager if product does not meet specifications
- Check and ensure correctness of temperatures of appliances and food
- Monitor quantity of food prepared and portions served
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
- Set-up, clean, and break down workstation
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Prepare and cook food
- Operate ovens and microwaves to prepare foods
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate their needs
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contribute to team goals
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures
