Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have basic knowledge of preparation of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be energetic and customer service oriented
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- At least one year of prior serving experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the game of golf and golf course etiquette is preferred
- Alcohol service training is required
- Food handling training is required upon hire
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability and willingness to work varied shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment
- Energetic with a positive attitude and genuine interest in customer service
Job Duties
- Prepare and sell beverages including alcohol to golf course customers both inside the clubhouse and on the golf course
- Operate the golf course's beverage cart during selected weekend days and tournaments
- Operate a point-of-sale system and monitor inventory to advise management on needs
- Handle cash and provide for end-of-day balancing of cash and sales receipts
- Communicate effectively with all members of the golf course staff
- Drive a golf cart, beverage cart or utility vehicle when necessary
- Prepare minor grab-and-go food items such as sandwiches and hot dogs
- Perform housekeeping duties for the food and beverage area, golf shop, and restrooms, as needed
- Occasionally perform duties relating to the golf shop, outside services or golf maintenance as needed
