Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years food and beverage experience
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to present information and answer questions from groups

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to perform arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Flexible to work holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievement of performance and profit objectives
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns with attention to guest satisfaction
  • Support compliance to departmental budgets
  • Actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards
  • Assist in maintenance of cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory
  • Assist in development and maintenance of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for customer satisfaction
  • Follow established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards
  • Respond to guest needs and report problems to manager
  • Assist manager with administrative duties as assigned
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to relay pertinent information
  • Assist in cleaning and resetting food and beverage areas during assigned shift
  • Monitor appearance of food and beverage served and communicate deviations
  • Assist in cross-training team members while supporting peers
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report issues to management
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in departmental and company matters
