Trilogy at Vistancia is a distinguished community offering a premier golf club experience located in Peoria, Arizona, approximately 40 minutes west of Scottsdale and northwest of downtown Phoenix. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two to three years leadership experience in related field
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Must meet state minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • TIPS® Certification
  • Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
  • Knowledgeable about county regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Ability to calculate food costs and pricing
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Planning and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and balance multiple priorities
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two to three years leadership experience in a related field, with two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Must meet the state’s minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS® Certification
  • Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
  • Knowledgeable about county regulations
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to calculate food costs, menu pricing, discounts, percentages, inventory, labor standards and volume
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements and capital project presentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
  • Basic computational ability as well as budgetary analysis
  • Demonstrates initiative and independence in decision making
  • Ability to pay attention to multiple details and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort and Golf to support the achievement of company goals
  • Ensure a consistent set of superior standards of food service and quality are meeting or exceeding employee and guest expectations
  • Maintain effective communication between all members regarding food and beverage operations, safety, and employee concerns

  • Recognize and celebrate team member success and maintain a positive work environment
  • Provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable working environment for food service staff to assure peak performance
  • Support goals for sales, revenue, new projects, and business development
  • Adhere to labor standards related to labor costs and covers
  • Assist during all food and beverage functions such as corporate parties and weddings
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
