Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to qualify for required licenses and permits
- Ability to read and interpret English documents and communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling
- Flexible to work various shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of Food and Beverage industry experience
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with guests, staff, and colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong report writing and business correspondence skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including ratios and percentages
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexible availability including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
Job Duties
- Supervise an F&B outlet and manage daily shift operations
- Create efficient schedules while controlling labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
- Assist in budget processes and monitor departmental budget compliance
- Promote and enforce superior customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with gaming laws and F&B regulations
- Maintain food service procedures and inspect menu items
- Support F&B manager in sanitary service and cost control
- Assist with administrative duties
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues
- Maintain confidentiality in departmental matters
- Develop and train staff
- Implement rewards and recognition programs
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
- Recommend staffing and scheduling to meet business needs
- Manage work procedures and workflow
- Provide coaching and counseling as needed
