Job Requirements

  • work authorization in the United States required
  • 3 to 4 years' experience working in bar, food, and beverage management preferred
  • 1 to 2 years' experience working in luxury bars or restaurants preferred
  • strong beverage knowledge of beer, wine and liquor required
  • TIPS and ServSafe certifications required
  • ability to work flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent problem-solving abilities
  • commitment to exceptional guest service

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the designated Food and Beverage outlet to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
  • plan daily activities and operations for the outlet
  • provide support and leadership by being visible in the operation
  • provide recognition
  • promote good public relations
  • handle complaints, concerns, or special requests from guests, clients, and group contacts
  • describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an attentive and distinctive environment
  • control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
  • attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
  • observe physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements
  • fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal health, safety, and labor regulations relevant to food and beverage operations
