Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- Must pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, graveyards, holidays and weekends as required
- Must follow all TOGE internal controls and comply with Title 4 Arizona liquor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years of recent dining room food service or restaurant management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant management
- Knowledge of inventory practices
- Knowledge of management techniques
- Knowledge of dining, buffet and food maintenance operations
- Knowledge of menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages and desserts
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Skill in interpersonal and customer relations
- Ability to work under stressful and busy conditions
- Skill in using PC and Windows-based computer systems
Job Duties
- Ensures compliance with all Tohono O'odham Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures, including internal controls
- Ensures all repairs are made timely and accurately
- Ensures the interior surroundings are safe, clean, and professional
- Ensures an engaged, empowered and high performance workplace culture
- Ensures that all Tribal, City, State and Federal Health/Food Safety codes are upheld
- Maintains a clean, organized and sanitized work area
- Delivers service for food and beverage functions
- Responds and resolves customer complaints
- Maintains quality control of items being served
- Fills requisitions for warehouse
- Orders nonfood items for all outlets
- Trains staff members, organizes workloads and directs staff
- Creates schedules according to functions
- Conducts monthly inventory
- Provides exceptional guest service
- Conducts performance evaluations
- Coordinates all food and beverage department functions
- Serves alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with Title 4 and TOGE alcohol controls
- Analyzes member survey results and guest feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Exemplifies and reinforces Desert Diamond Casino's Spirit of Service Standards
- Models company standards and leads by example
- Performs other duties as required
