Job Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues
- ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically
- ability to write reports and business correspondence
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- ability to interpret graphical data
- flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends and overtime
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- willingness to work at multiple casino locations
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
- minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience
- previous experience in food and beverage desired but not required
- ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- ability to write reports and business correspondence
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook programs
- excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills
- willing to work at multiple casino locations as needed
Job Duties
- Support, administer and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
- create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction
- assist in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations
- ensure compliance to departmental budget initiatives
- report budget concerns to manager
- enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise
- responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals
- maintain knowledge of and enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Food & Beverage department
- assist in maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
- assist manager to ensure efficient sanitary and pleasant service for all guests
- assist in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory
- assist manager with administrative duties as assigned
- ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
- maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
