Job Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues
  • ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • ability to interpret graphical data
  • flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends and overtime
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • willingness to work at multiple casino locations

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience
  • previous experience in food and beverage desired but not required
  • ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook programs
  • excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills
  • willing to work at multiple casino locations as needed

Job Duties

  • Support, administer and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
  • create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction
  • assist in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations
  • ensure compliance to departmental budget initiatives
  • report budget concerns to manager
  • enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
  • ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise
  • responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals
  • maintain knowledge of and enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Food & Beverage department
  • assist in maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
  • assist manager to ensure efficient sanitary and pleasant service for all guests
  • assist in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory
  • assist manager with administrative duties as assigned
  • ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
  • maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
