Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of dining room food service or restaurant management experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Ability to pass background investigation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to follow instructions and work in stressful environment
- Ability to service customers professionally
- Ability to carry out written and oral instructions
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work evening, graveyard, holiday and weekend shifts
- Comfortable working in a high noise, casino environment with exposure to second-hand smoke
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of recent dining room food service or restaurant management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant management
- Knowledge of inventory practices
- Knowledge of management techniques
- Knowledge of dining, buffet, food maintenance operations and customer service
- Knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages and desserts
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Skill in interpersonal and customer relations
- Skill in use of computer in Windows environment
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with all Tohono O'odham Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures including internal controls
- Ensure all repairs are made timely and accurately
- Maintain safe, clean, and professional interior surroundings
- Foster an engaged, empowered, and high performance workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with all tribal, city, state and federal health and food safety codes
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized work area
- Deliver food and beverage service functions
- Respond and resolve customer complaints
- Manage quality control of served items
- Fill requisitions for warehouse
- Order nonfood items for all outlets
- Train staff members and organize workloads
- Create schedules according to functions
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Coordinate with Food and Beverage Department for events
- Serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages complying with Title 4 and TOGE controls
- Adhere to all Title 4 regulations and TOGE internal controls
- Contribute to team efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Analyze member survey results and guest feedback
- Exemplify the organization's culture and philosophies
- Demonstrate Desert Diamond Casino 'On Brand' attitude
