Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum two years experience in a high volume restaurant required
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must be able to compute accurate mathematical calculations
  • Must be able to provide legible communication and directions
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Must be able to prioritize and organize
  • Must be able to think clearly, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Must be able to follow directions thoroughly
  • Must be able to understand guest service needs

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data
  • Must possess basic typing skills and computer keyboard usage
  • Must possess moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
  • Must be adept at multitasking
  • Must complete Safe Serve Alcohol Vending Course
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Must be able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
  • Must be able to use, carry and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity
  • Must be able to communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability and visual acuity
  • Must be able to visually look at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel

Job Duties

  • Providing the highest levels of professionalism and enthusiasm to guests and co-workers
  • Complete knowledge of use and care of Point of Sale and timekeeping systems
  • Completion of all assigned opening and closing tasks pertinent to the server position
  • Assist co-workers in the performance of their responsibilities when necessary
  • Maintenance of the highest levels of sanitation and safety in the workplace
  • Knowledge of location and requisitioning of all necessary products and supplies
  • Knowledge of bar and dining area seating charts
  • Complete familiarity with liquor and wine selection, pricing and preparation
  • Complete familiarity with all menu item preparations and presentation
  • Knowledge of and adherence to proper ID procedures
  • Adherence to service standards as outlined in BSOPs
  • Daily reconciliation of sales and credit information
  • Declaration of earned gratuities in accordance with current governmental requirements
  • Immediate notification of a manager in the event of a problem or the perception of a problem
