Job Duties
- Welcome guests as they enter
- Greet guests upon arriving at the table and make them feel comfortable
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make genuine recommendations to guests
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the point-of-sale system
- Prepare coffee and tea when line or toast assistants are not present
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Perform side work at the start and end of shifts
- Maintain clean service areas including tables, seats, floors, and windows
- Monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare and present final bills, process payments and change
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Pre-bus tables and assist with clearing and cleaning
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed for smooth restaurant operation as directed by management
