Job Requirements

  • Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage, service standards, customer relations and etiquette
  • Able to serve alcohol if required
  • Tuberculosis clearance according to local health guidelines
  • Appropriate food handler's card for the state
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintains dining room cleanliness and sanitation according to company standards
  • Works with management to ensure cleanliness of restaurant interior and exterior
  • Assures customer satisfaction with daily dining experience
  • Demonstrates proper customer service standards
  • Handles customer complaints calmly and professionally
  • Notifies supervisors or managers of customer complaints
  • Attends all shift briefings and meetings
  • Learns and becomes competent in all front-of-house duty stations
  • Performs essential FOH tasks as server, host, cashier, refreshment, and bar staff
  • Assists with storage and organization of deliveries
  • Monitors stock levels according to company standards
  • Reports operational issues to supervisors or managers
  • Follows OSHA, food, and sanitation requirements
  • Works scheduled shifts and notifies management of personnel changes
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings
