Job Requirements
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- tuberculosis clearance as required (Hawaii)
- appropriate state food handlers card as required (Washington)
- ability to communicate clearly verbally and in written form
- able to stand and walk constantly
- frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting
- ability to lift 40lbs and move 50lbs continuously
- ability to operate and clean restaurant equipment including POS systems
- able to operate trash compactor if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- understanding of customer relations and etiquette
- ability to serve alcohol where applicable
- fluent in English
- clear verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Complies with all company policies and procedures
- maintains dining room cleanliness and organization
- ensures proper sanitation of the dining room area
- works with management on cleanliness of the restaurant interior and exterior
- ensures customer satisfaction daily
- follows proper customer service standards
- handles customer complaints professionally
- notifies supervisors or managers of complaints
- attends all briefings and meetings
- learns and becomes competent in all duty stations
- performs all FOH staff functions including server, host, cashier
- runs all front of house stations efficiently
- assists with storage and organization of deliveries
- follows safe stock levels
- communicates operational issues to supervisors
- carries out other duties as assigned
- checks and works all scheduled shifts
- notifies supervisors of personnel changes
- attends mandatory staff meetings
- adheres to OSHA, food, and sanitation requirements
