Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and cleaning, availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, friendly and welcoming demeanor, ability to work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, knowledge of basic food safety practices, ability to follow health regulations
Job Duties
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival, record guest names and party sizes when seating is unavailable, provide estimated wait times and keep guests informed, page guests when their tables are ready, escort guests to their tables with menus and silverware, accommodate special seating requests, inform guests of their server's name upon seating, thank guests as they leave, maintain cleanliness in the host area, remove used tableware promptly, clear tables and place items in washing areas, respond to guest requests and communicate to servers, collaborate with servers and hosts for table utilization, assist servers with plate removal during peak periods, keep front of house areas clean, proactively clean tabletops and floors between seatings, be flexible to fill in where needed as directed by management
