The role of Restaurant Operations Manager at The Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily lunch and dinner services. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience required
  • ServSafe certified is a plus
  • Ability to climb stairs and stand or walk for hours
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented, very organized, detail oriented and flexible

Job Duties

  • Oversee and facilitate all aspects of daytime and nighttime restaurant operation/floor management including hiring and training staff
  • Manage guest and client relations to ensure guest satisfaction, product quality, and cost control
  • Ensure cash and supplies security, accountability, and disbursement to staff
  • Provide sales and service to tour groups and private parties including corporate and social events
  • Apply sanitation and cleanliness standards for positive restaurant appearance
  • Enforce established organization policies and procedures
