Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of restaurant leadership experience
  • understanding of hospitality standards and dining room operations
  • excellent communication skills
  • conflict-resolution abilities
  • multitasking capability
  • strong customer service orientation
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic knowledge of POS systems
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs when necessary
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of restaurant leadership experience (supervisor, shift lead, or similar)
  • strong understanding of hospitality standards and dining room operations
  • excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
  • ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • strong customer service mindset and positive attitude
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic knowledge of POS systems and restaurant technology

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and ensure they receive excellent service throughout their visit
  • assist staff during high-volume periods and help resolve guest concerns
  • maintain a strong presence on the floor, supporting hosts, servers, bartenders, and bussers
  • monitor pacing, table turns, and overall dining room flow
  • supervise FOH staff during assigned shifts
  • provide on-the-spot coaching, encouragement, and corrective guidance
  • support training of new FOH employees to uphold service and hospitality standards
  • help schedule breaks and manage labor to stay within targets
  • ensure the dining room, bar, and service areas meet cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures
  • monitor table settings, presentation, and service steps to maintain consistency
  • assist with inventory, ordering, and restocking FOH supplies
  • assist DOO with scheduling building and adjustments
  • communicate needs and feedback to the back-of-house and management team
  • attend pre-shift meetings and deliver key information to staff
  • relay guest feedback and operational issues to management
  • help oversee POS operations, comps, voids, and shift-end paperwork when needed
  • ensure staff follows proper cash-handling procedures
