Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Obtain and maintain Servesafe certification within 90 days of hire
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Some food service experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume health care environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills with ability to solve problems independently
- Must comply with Huntsville Hospital and regulatory food safety standards
- Ability to follow verbal, written, and electronic directions and recipes
Job Qualifications

- Servesafe certification obtained or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, hygiene, sanitation standards, and kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Oversee all food service operations including food preparation, storage, and delivery
- Manage patient meals and dining areas
- Coordinate sanitation practices and ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise staff coaching, training, and disciplinary actions
- Handle ordering and scheduling of food service personnel
- Operate and manage call center operations related to food services
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hospital policies
