Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional baking experience
  • open availability to work including weekends and holidays
  • able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • must maintain grooming and uniform standards
  • ability to use kitchen utensils safely including knives and ovens
  • able to stand for long shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
  • commitment to at least 1 year in the position
  • able to work around loud noises and fluctuating temperatures
  • must enjoy working in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Arrive at work on time and ready to start
  • help maintain a positive team environment
  • communicate openly with managers and team members
  • maintain quality standards for all baked items
  • organize and sanitize work areas
  • mix, shape, and bake various bread types
  • execute proper proofing and troubleshoot dough issues based on temperature
  • process and shape laminated and enriched doughs such as croissants and brioche
  • cross-train in other baking projects as needed
