Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Availability to work rotating shifts
- Commitment to maintaining safety and infection control standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Preferred six months of housekeeping experience in healthcare settings
- Physical ability to maneuver, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility
Job Duties
- Collects trash, recyclables, and soiled linen throughout the facility
- Operates housekeeping equipment such as washing machines, dryers, auto-scrubbers, and floor buffers
- Cleans and disinfects tile floors, stairwells, furniture, and fixtures
- Performs carpet vacuuming, spot-cleaning, and extraction
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, resident beds, and appliances
- Assists with outdoor maintenance, including snow removal during emergencies
- Ensures compliance with safety, infection control, and hazardous materials policies
- Promotes customer satisfaction and contributes to quality improvement efforts
