Job Requirements
- prior experience in custodial or janitorial work with a focus on floor care preferred
- knowledge of cleaning methods for various surfaces including tile vinyl wood and carpet
- ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Job Duties
- perform thorough floor care duties including sweeping mopping vacuuming buffing and polishing
- clean and maintain carpets using appropriate equipment and procedures
- apply floor care treatments to preserve appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces
- clean and sanitize restrooms hallways lobbies and other common areas
- operate commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers buffers and carpet extractors safely and efficiently
- follow all safety procedures and environmental compliance standards
- report maintenance issues hazards or equipment concerns promptly
- maintain cleanliness and organization throughout assigned areas during the shift
