- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred
- English language is required for this position
- floor maintenance experience with buffer, waxer, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums
- completion of on-the-job training
- undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases

Job Duties
- Cleaning offices, hallways, public areas, and other areas
- operate floor scrubber and carpet extractor equipment
- cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing different floor types such as tile and terrazzo
- carpet cleaning, shampooing, bonnet cleaning, and hot water extraction
- removing stains or debris from floors using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- measuring cleaning chemicals correctly and operating chemical dispensing units
- labeling chemicals correctly
- cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and personal protective equipment proficiently
- replenishing cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed in designated areas
- assisting in moving furniture and other heavy items for comprehensive floor cleaning
- always follow safety procedures and guidelines
- reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor
- assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor
