Job Requirements
- less than 1 year of applicable experience
- ability to work full time
- ability to work evening shifts 6 pm to 2 30 am weekdays with rotating weekends
- ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to follow hospital cleaning and safety protocols
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience is an asset
- strong customer service skills
- positive attitude and willingness to work
- ability to work on feet for extended periods
- capable of lifting 50 pounds
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- flexibility to work rotating weekends
Job Duties
- cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms bathrooms floors and offices
- removing trash wiping surfaces and any other tasks related to cleaning
- managing trash linen bio removal with ability to lift 50 pounds
- interacting positively with patients and staff
- working independently with minimal supervision
- maintaining compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols
- assisting with any departmental duties as assigned
