Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year work experience in food operating field preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 300 pounds
- Able to work any shift and handle stressful, fast-paced environments
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of experience in food service or related field preferred
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work well in a team
- Present a well-groomed appearance
- Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Willingness to work any shift
- Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per day
- Sense of urgency and adaptability to changing demands
- Uphold integrity and standards of a regulated business
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing friendly service
Job Duties
- Scrape dirty dishes, glassware and silver as received from servers and carry items to dishwashing area in an approved manner
- Restock water glasses, coffee cups, utensils and condiments
- Communicate clearly, professionally and friendly with employees
- Work closely with servers and management to maintain par levels of essential tools
- Maintain required supplies at all times
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness in assigned areas
- Replenish ice in soda machines and refill beverage machines while maintaining cleanliness
- Maintain clean floor in side stations and entryways
- Collaborate with servers to provide excellent guest service
- Expedite and run food as needed
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
- Act as a role model to other employees and represent Harrah's positively
- Perform other duties as assigned
