Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • age of legal drinking according to state or local laws if serving alcohol
  • ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk and hear frequently
  • occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • compliance with company attendance and dress code policies
  • availability for various shifts depending on theater needs

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of cast certification program as cast member and box office cashier or progress towards completion
  • completion of legally required training and certification for alcohol service where applicable
  • good public speaking and listening skills
  • ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
  • ability to identify problems, gather data and reach conclusions
  • excellent communication skills with customers and team members
  • ability to set goals, budget time and prioritize
  • ability to perform under pressure and opposition

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
  • general cleaning duties
  • compliance with company dress code
  • operating POS system including accurate handling of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons
  • up selling/suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences such as 3D, RPX and IMAX
  • promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
  • responding to phone calls and guest inquiries consistent with guest service philosophy
  • operating, preparing and cleaning concession equipment
  • complying with local, state and federal food safety laws
  • abiding by laws related to meal and break periods
  • ensuring current alcohol certification and training where applicable
  • tearing tickets and directing patrons to auditoriums
  • inspecting backpacks and packages
  • managing crowd control and assisting guests with seating
  • conducting in-theater inspections to monitor picture and sound quality and maintain safety
  • reporting issues to management
  • performing in-auditorium concession sales
  • cleaning auditoriums and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, lobby and hallways
  • monitoring theater vending equipment
  • assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
