Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
- age of legal drinking according to state or local laws if serving alcohol
- ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk and hear frequently
- occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- compliance with company attendance and dress code policies
- availability for various shifts depending on theater needs
Job Qualifications
- Completion of cast certification program as cast member and box office cashier or progress towards completion
- completion of legally required training and certification for alcohol service where applicable
- good public speaking and listening skills
- ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- ability to identify problems, gather data and reach conclusions
- excellent communication skills with customers and team members
- ability to set goals, budget time and prioritize
- ability to perform under pressure and opposition
Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
- general cleaning duties
- compliance with company dress code
- operating POS system including accurate handling of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons
- up selling/suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences such as 3D, RPX and IMAX
- promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
- responding to phone calls and guest inquiries consistent with guest service philosophy
- operating, preparing and cleaning concession equipment
- complying with local, state and federal food safety laws
- abiding by laws related to meal and break periods
- ensuring current alcohol certification and training where applicable
- tearing tickets and directing patrons to auditoriums
- inspecting backpacks and packages
- managing crowd control and assisting guests with seating
- conducting in-theater inspections to monitor picture and sound quality and maintain safety
- reporting issues to management
- performing in-auditorium concession sales
- cleaning auditoriums and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, lobby and hallways
- monitoring theater vending equipment
- assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
