Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand walk reach and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
- availability to work variable hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- strong customer service orientation
- compliance with company dress code
- regular and consistent attendance
- willingness to handle emergency situations
- ability to complete required training programs including sexual harassment and discrimination
- current alcohol certification if selling or serving alcohol according to state or local law
Job Qualifications
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and box office cashier or progress towards completion
- legally required training and certification for alcohol sales when applicable
- ability to perform public speaking and communicate clearly
- ability to perform math calculations with speed and accuracy
- capacity to identify and resolve problems effectively
- excellent communication skills with customers co-workers and management
- ability to set and achieve goals prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Job Duties
- Operating POS system including handling cash drawer credit cards gift cards redeemed discount tickets passes and coupons accurately
- up selling suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences such as 3D RPX IMAX
- promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- ensuring tickets are sold in compliance with the MPAA rating system and company policies
- responding to phone calls and guest inquiries professionally
- operating concession equipment preparing and cleaning concession areas
- complying with food safety laws and alcohol certification requirements
- enforcing legal age restrictions for alcohol sales
- tearing tickets collecting stubs and directing patrons
- managing crowd control and assisting guests
- conducting theater inspections for picture sound and cleanliness
- reporting problems or discrepancies to management
- cleaning auditoriums restrooms lobby and other areas
- monitoring and maintaining theater vending equipment
- performing opening and closing duties as assigned
