Job Requirements

  • Completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training and required alcohol certification if duties include selling or serving alcohol
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers co-workers and management
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Capacity to stand walk sit reach with hands and arms talk or hear frequently
  • Ability to occasionally climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Availability for regular and consistent attendance
  • Compliance with company dress code and policies
  • Willingness to handle emergency situations and general cleaning tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent public speaking listening and clear communication skills
  • Ability to identify problems gather data and make decisions based on evidence
  • Ability to perform under pressure and opposition
  • Good organizational skills to set priorities and budget time
  • Knowledge of MPAA rating system and customer service principles

Job Duties

  • Operating POS system including accurate handling of cash drawer credit cards travelers checks gift cards and redeemed discount tickets passes and coupons
  • Up selling and suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D RPX IMAX)
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring tickets are sold according to MPAA rating system and company policies
  • Responding to phone calls and guest questions consistent with service philosophy
  • Operating POS system for concession sales including inventory management
  • Preparing cleaning and operating concession equipment
  • Complying with local state and federal food safety laws
  • Abiding by federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
  • Ensuring alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
  • Selling and serving alcohol when assigned and legally permitted
  • Tearing tickets collecting stubs and directing patrons to auditoriums
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests to seats
  • Enforcing MPAA rating system
  • Conducting in-theatre inspections monitoring picture sound quality and safety
  • Reporting problems discrepancies and unusual situations to management
  • Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales
  • Cleaning auditoriums restrooms lobby hallways and other open areas
  • Monitoring cleanliness and operation of vending equipment
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
