Job Requirements

  • Completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion
  • legally required alcohol service training and certification where applicable
  • possess good public speaking, listening and clear communication abilities
  • possess mathematical skills to perform calculations accurately
  • ability to identify problems and reach solutions
  • ability to perform in stressful situations
  • excellent interpersonal communication
  • physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
  • vision to include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
  • legally required state or local training and responsible beverage server training for alcohol service
  • good public speaking ability

  • ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
  • ability to identify and correct errors
  • problem-solving skills including identifying issues, gathering data, evaluating alternatives and reaching conclusions

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • handling of emergency situations when called upon
  • performing general cleaning duties
  • complying with company dress code
  • operating POS system and handling cash, credit cards, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets
  • upselling and suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences like 3D, RPX, IMAX
  • promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • ensuring tickets are sold in compliance with MPAA rating system and company policy
  • responding to phone calls and guest inquiries
  • operating concession equipment, managing stock inventory and complying with food safety laws
  • ensuring current alcohol certification and training when applicable
  • tearing tickets and directing patrons to auditoriums
  • inspecting backpacks and packages
  • managing crowd control and assisting guests with seating
  • conducting theater inspections for picture and sound quality and safety
  • reporting problems or unusual situations to management
  • performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales
  • cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby areas and hallways
  • monitoring cleanliness and operation of theater vending equipment
  • assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned by management
