Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to physically perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- compliance with safety standards and procedures
- ability to operate store equipment including baler and trash compactor
- valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
- availability to work scheduled shifts punctually
- commitment to excellent customer service
- willingness to participate in required training programs
- physical ability to stand for prolonged periods
- adherence to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- reads and comprehends simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- writes simple correspondence
- communicates effectively and pleasantly with guests, vendors and associates
- performs basic mathematical skills using American money and measurements
- applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- meets state minimum requirement to operate baler and trash compactor
- valid driver’s license or state ID card
- completion of Yoke’s provided training including Active Shooter, Grocery Skills Training levels One, Two, and Three, Food Handler’s Safety Training, HIPAA Training, Late Night Retail Safety Training, Yoke’s Safety Orientation Training, and Guest Service Training
Job Duties
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time and regularly
- communicating clearly and demonstrating physical ability to safely perform tasks
- providing excellent customer service
- promoting sales through engagement with guests
- offering product recommendations and discussing promotions
- restocking and maintaining merchandise displays
- operating store equipment safely and correctly
- mentoring new associates
- accurately processing guest special orders
- ensuring adherence to safety and food handling regulations
- participating in accident reduction and safety programs
